Do you communicate to connect or to convince?
Until I started asking myself this question, I wasn't aware of my impact on the people I tried to communicate with even, though my intentions were good. My message was not being received.
Once I became aware of my internal dialogue I really saw why my communication was unsuccessful.
I am opening up a couple of workshop spaces on communication skills specifically on 'How to communicate what you really want to say so that others will hear you.'
