“Stay Neutral. Keep Believing.”

Yesterday I caught the last 2 minutes of the football game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Minnesota Vikings.

It's amazing how much can happen within 2 minutes.

Seattle Seahawks had the ball. The score was 26 Vikings - 21 Seahawks.

After an amazingly exciting 2 minutes Seahawks scored a touch down & the score changed to 26 Vikings - 27 Seahawks. Yes, the Seattle team played their best 2 minutes & won the game.

In the after-the-game interview Russell Wilson said something that sounded simple yet it is so hard to deliver. Especially when the pressure is mounting, everybody is watching & counting on you to deliver the win.

"Stay neutral. Keep believing." said Russell Wilson.

I reflected on my life. How many times have I a stayed neutral - away from putting myself into a "lost/won" mindset while my "game" was still in play? How many times have I withheld from giving up before my "game" was actually over?
I noticed "Stay neutral. Keep believing." has supported me in many situations in my life.
I won many play because I focused on playing rather than thinking about how I've already lost.

Great Engineers focus on TAKING ACTION (playing) even when the "score" is not in their favor. They ARE NOT STUCK in thinking they have already lost.
